I offer Family Tree Authoring Services for prices well below that of most genealogists with an up front flat fee for my authoring the flat fee is usually between $250- $500, the only variable will be various paper records I may need to retrieve which I try to keep to a minimum and will keep you informed of so there are no surprises, I offer linear family pedigree tree authoring as well as multi branch authoring and family tree authentication. I work with various resources both on line and off line dependant upon the situation and will source my findings.
My approach to family tree authoring is one in which I feel speculation is usually not the best idea in most cases, I require records or at the very least very strong probabilities to write something into a persons family history. Your family tree will be complete with notes on why I made each decision.
I specialize in United States records though I am well versed in over seas records and if necessary will try my best to locate them. I specialize in taking your tree into the late 18th century or early nineteenth century, more often than not any further exploration becomes speculatory though some areas have excellent records and I take this on a case by case basis.
Before approaching me with a proposal please take the time to define your goals so that both you and I will be happy with the end result. Secondly I will need to know some details on the family(ies) we will be working on .Usually this will include an approximate death /birth date and place for the primary individuals we will be beginning with though I do welcome more details than that. I prefer the individuals we begin with to have been born prior 1930 so that I can pick them up in the census records.
