Dewey Cemetery is located on Dillman Street, Pokagon township.
Erastus White purchased the land that is now Dewey Lake Cemetery and donated it to the township to be used as a cemetery. He and his wife are both buried at Dewey Lake Cemetery. Erastus and Eliza are the parents of Rachel White Dewey, who is buried in the cemetery with them along with her young son. - statement contributed by: Penny Vanderbeck-NovyUpdated on July 30, 2008.
