There is a story that Moses Pike was experimenting with medicine and the results of his tests are buried in this cemetery.

A Ruth Pike, born July 10, 1801 , died August 23, 1891 is buried at Salem Chapel Cemetery. Sounds like it could be Moses' second wife. Moses is said to have gone out west.
