Photos contributed by a volunteer. On June 24th, 2010 a thunderstorm whipped through the area with winds sustaining 90 to 100 mile an hour winds. Many areas in La Porte county saw the effects of this with blown down trees and limbs. Power was out for days in part of the county. The Pine Lake Cemetery also fell victim to this storm, but was lucky that more extensive damage wasn't done. Below are a few photos of the aftermath of that storm.
