Enoch Wojciechowski was my Great-Great Grandfather. My mother just received some information on him. My grandmother had always said he was buried under the large tree on the west side of the cemetery towards the front. He is said to have donated the land that the cemetery sits on to the church. Mrozinski - John E. Mrozinski - LaPorte Herald Argus, Thursday May 12 1960 - John E. Mrozinski, 79, route (?) Rolling Prairie, died at 8:15 p.m. yesterday at the Holy Family Hospital after a two-month illness. He was born in Rolling Prairie May 24, 1880 and was married Sept. 30, 1919 in Rolling Prairie to Stella Wroblewski, who died July 1, 1953. Mr. Mrozinski was a farmer and a member of the Holy Name society of the St. John's Canty Catholic church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carrie Mixtacki, and Miss Alice Mrozinski, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Gertrude Laymon, Rolling Prairie; one brother, Stanley Mrozinski of South Bend; two sisters; Mrs. Rose Paris and Mrs. Helen Sudrovech, both of South Bend; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. John's Canty Catholic church in Rolling Prairie with the Rev. Theodore A. Janicki officiating. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery there. Friends may call at the family residence after 7 tonight and until time of services. The rosary will be recited at the residence at 8 p.m. tomorrow. The H.C. Amen and Son Funeral home of New Carlisle is in charge of arrangements
Mrozinski - John Mrozinski - Daily Herald, Monday February 17 1913 - John Mrozinski died at the Holy Family hospital at 6:20 o'clock Friday morning of blood poisoning, which developed from an injury of the right leg. He was 72 years of age. He came to this country in 1871. He leaves a widow and five children. The funeral services were held Saturday at 10 o'clock from St. John's church, Sogany lake. Father Sergonske and Osadnik officiating. Weir & Petering are in charge of the funeral arrangements. Three brothers of deceased, Joseph, George and Frank, live in LaPorte county.
Mrozinski - Mrs. Stella J. Mrozinski - LaPorte Herald Argus - Thursday July 2, 1953 - Mrs. Stella J. Mrozinski, 68, of route 1 Rolling Prairie, died at 2:05 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home after an illness of four weeks. The daughter of Mikolaj and Josephine Wroblewski, she was born in Terre Coupe, St. Joseph county, on March 4, 1885 and had lived near Rolling Prairie all her life. On Sept. 30, 1923 in Rolling Prairie she was married to John E. Mrozinski. She was a member of St. John Cantius Catholic church and of the Rosary society of that church. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Laymon, Rolling Prairie; Mrs. Carrie Mixtacki and Miss Alice Mrozinski, both of South Bend; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Walinski, South Bend; Mrs. Mary Michalski, Terre Coupe, four brothers, Joseph and Frank Wroblewski of South Bend, and David and Enoch Wroblewski of Terre Coupe. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. John Cantius church with the Rev. Theodore Janicki officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cantius cemetery.
