Between the months of April and June 2003,
badly needed stone repairs were done to this cemetery by Mark Davis. Patricia
Guse Harris reread the stones at that time. Pat informs us that, "#10 (listed
below) was not found in earlier reading. Earlier reading also listed many more
names, but they were not found during restoration of cemetery 13 & 14 June
2003.. Earlier reading stated that many of the listed burials came from family
genealogies, but no source was given. At this date we have no definite proof of
other burials, although there likely were others. "

Phebe Harding who d. 2 Nov 1844. She died in La Porte Co. at the
home of her son John Harding. Her husband was Amos Harding--they were ancestors
of Hulda (Harding) Logan who is at the Union Mills Cem. and of Pres. Warren G.
Harding. Phebe was the dau. of William Tripp & Sarah Slocum.
